About Level 3 ESL Lessons

Level 3 lessons are designed for beginner ESL students who are ready to move into CEFR A1-level learning. At this stage, students are no longer just learning isolated vocabulary. They are learning how to read more confidently, respond in complete sentences, and use English more actively in class.

These structured lessons help young learners strengthen communication, reading, listening, and grammar skills through topics and activities that are appropriate for beginner students. Level 3 gives children the support they need to become much more confident using English in meaningful ways.

What Makes Level 3 Different

One of the things that makes the Super English ESL curriculum different is its strong emphasis on speaking. Many ESL programs focus heavily on worksheets, reading passages, and grammar exercises, but do not give students enough repeated practice using English in conversation.

In Level 3, students regularly practice both answering questions and asking questions. Because they do this in lesson after lesson, they become far more comfortable speaking in English. By the end of this level, students have a strong communication foundation and can almost hold a conversation before moving into Level 4.

How Level 3 Fits Into the Super English ESL Curriculum

Level 3 builds on the early communication and reading foundations introduced in Level 2 and prepares students for Level 4, where learners continue developing greater fluency and independence. This level is an important bridge between early beginner work and more confident communication.

The full Super English ESL program also includes structured speaking lessons, phonics lessons, and themed holiday lessons that help students build strong language skills across the curriculum.
